Look at my sweet little babies. We had school pictures and I thought I would take extras since they looked so cute and clean.Monday, September 21, 2009
We just finished with a fun fall of soccer games. Jacob and Riley played this year and they had games from Tuesday through Friday. It was a lot of fun and the boys did really well. Riley is getting to be quite the soccer player and scored a lot of goals and had some fancy foot work. It was fun to see him improving. Jacob is just learning. At first he was picking up feathers oblivious to what was going on but toward the end he was running with the pack. He really liked soccer for the treat afterwards. Audrie is doing a performing group called Choral Collection and she just had her first performance. She did a darling job and really loves the spotlight. I took videos of Riley and Audrie and forgot the camera, but got Jacob on camera and forgot to get him on film. Someday I will be perfect, but for now, Oh well.Saturday, August 15, 2009
We had a lot of fun on our final trip of the summer to Yellowstone and Jackson Hole. I am always amazed at how many beautiful things are put into a small area inside the park. We loved the hot pots, waterfalls, Bison, and of course Old Faithful. The mountains were so green and beautiful that the driving was even fun.Friday, July 24, 2009
My DARLING 2 Year Old
I was enjoying this morning reading the Ensign in the front room while the kids were coloring at the kitchen table, at least that's what I thought they were doing. Isaac had gotten bored with the activity so he found the flour and started throwing it around the kitchen. Unfortunately none of the kids noticed until the damage was quite large. Audrie tried to help me clean it up with the swiffer wet jet which turned the flour into dough. We had a fun morning cleaning up.Wednesday, July 8, 2009
We had a blast at Grandma and Grandpa Tervort's cabin. Audrie decided she wants to live there. It was perfect weather, not too hot, not too cold. Isaac had fun with his cousins and his Uncles. He got airplane rides from Uncle Daniel, but wanted nothing to do with the pool.
Adam and the kids had fun at the pool. There is a waterslide that Riley and Audrie enjoyed. We also went to the drive inn movie to see Up, and to the park where the mountain men had some little shops. Grandpa bought the kids cork guns.
Adam and I were happy to get to drive to the Manti Temple. It is fun to remember when we were married, and how far we've come. It is especially nice to know that it just gets better. We had a lot of fun on vacation, but are now happy to stay home for awhile.
P.S. McKelle was baptised and the kids sang "If the Savior Stood Beside me" Riley also said the closing prayer and thanked Heavenly Father that McKelle could have the Holy Ghost like he does. It was sweet.
We had a fun time at the Spangler Family Reunion. It was at Grandma and Grandpa Spangler's house. Jacob was not feeling good so he missed out on a lot of the fun, but the other kids loved playing with their cousins, having a magic show, swimming at the Payson pool and even doing a service project. We really love our family and are thankful to have such good parents.

Happy Family
We had a fun trip to California, and I have come home with an added appreciation for my sweet family. I sat and watched Adam play with the kids last night, and got a bit teary. I am so lucky and blessed to have such a sweet husband and loving kids. They really get a long great and are such good friends. Our California Trip
We went to California for Grandma Mathews 81st birthday celebration. We stopped in St. George for dinner and the kids had a race in the parking lot with dad.
Jacob found the candy at Grandma's party and stuffed it in his pocket, we found melted chocolate later that night coming out of his pants, and were glad that it was just chocolate.Beautiful San Diego
One of our favorite parts of the trips are the hotel stays. We really like new hotels and swimming in the pools.SeaWorld 2009
SeaWorld was a fun adventure. We went with Grandma, Grandpa, Jamie, Brad and kids.
This is the Journey to Atlantis ride that Audrie "was not even scared on". They liked this ride the best.
We liked watching the shows. This is at the Dolphin show just before we got soaked. I was the only one who stayed in my seat the entire time. It felt good on a hot day, but maybe not dolphin water.Disneyland June 2009
We knew we were crazy for attempting Disneyland in June, but Adam is addicted. The first 1 and 1/2 hours of the day were perfect. We rode on all of the rides in fantasyland. The park quickly filled up, and we had to leave in the middle of the day to rest and recoup. We came back in the evening for fireworks and a few more rides. We later found out that California residents with season passes could only go on that particular day and the rest of the summer was blocked out for them, which explained the rediculous crowds. Oh well we still had fun and were reminded why we go in January.
The kids love the teacups ride. Daddy usually takes them by himself, but I actually went twice this time and didn't get sick. They liked the little Alice in Wonderland house outside of the ride.

The "horseys" as Isaac calls them, is always a fun ride. We walked on most of the rides in the early morning.

Riley is now Baptised. He was so cute. He looked in the mirror in the bathroom after and said that he looked different. Later in his journal he wrote that yesterday he didn't look the same because today he has the Holy Ghost.
We were so excited to have our first child baptized. It is a neat feeling and a special event. It was hillarious because a lot of things went wrong. There was a big traffic accident that made a lot of people really late, and even prevented Grandpa Spangler to get there in time. Grandma Spangler got the stomach flu and couldn't come. During Uncle August's talk, baby Davey pulled the fire alarm, but in the end it all worked out and Riley was able to be baptized. That is what really matters.
Riley is 8 and he's so much bigger! He called it the week of Riley. At school they had field day on his birthday and they played games the entire day. I took cookies in to his class and he thought it was all for him. We had his birthday party the next day which was the last day of school. It was a bit rainy weather, but it cleared up just enough to have squirt gun fights and go down the waterslide. He was so excited to be eight but the best was that he was going to be baptised the next day.Wednesday, June 3, 2009

Riley and his class have been working on a Yellowstone exibit. He is able to bring his family in and he is the ranger who shows us everything they made. There is an exibit for bears, wolves, moose, bison, coyote, owls, and there is even a gyser and mud pot. He had fun showing Grandma and Grandpa Tervort, and Kaylee after Audrie's Kindergarten Graduation. I think he is the cutest ranger ever!

It's a GIRL
We just went to the ultrasound and found out that Audrie is getting a sister. We took all of the kids with us and they had fun seeing the pictures on the tv. Riley was a little disappointed because he wanted a full basketball team, but we convinced him that girls can be good at basketball too. We went out to dinner at Texas Roadhouse to celebrate. YIPEE!

Jacob graduated from his first year of Preschool. He loved preschool and felt like a big kid. He would wake up on preschool days and get ready by himself. He would always ask if today was a preschool day, and it really seemed to help him to feel special. He is also VERY smart. I am amazed at how many letters he knows and that he can write them and knows what sounds they make. He is a fun little boy and we are lucky to have him in our home. We love you Jacob!
