Jacob graduated from his first year of Preschool. He loved preschool and felt like a big kid. He would wake up on preschool days and get ready by himself. He would always ask if today was a preschool day, and it really seemed to help him to feel special. He is also VERY smart. I am amazed at how many letters he knows and that he can write them and knows what sounds they make. He is a fun little boy and we are lucky to have him in our home. We love you Jacob!

We had fun making Smores in our backyard. There was a sell so I picked up all the fixins. Unfortunately all they had left were strawberry flavored marshmellows and cinnamon grahams and we had semi-sweet chocolate. The kids didn't seem to mind, and it was fun to be in our backyard.
Our yard is finally in, but not without a lot of hard work. Adam did the final grade with the help of the kids and they thought that was a blast. It worked really well and didn't quite seem like work. Our new ward and August, Dustin, and Brennon came to the rescue with laying the sod. They got all 6000 sq feet done in about an hour. That was ten full pallets. We are glad to be rid of the dirt (especially on my kitchen floor.)
