Going to the ZOO ZOO ZOO

We had a great day at the zoo. Lydia loved the monkeys. She fell asleep by the end. The kids also loved the bird show, and they all got to have a bird take their money for a donation. We went with all of the Tervort cousins and Grandma. It was a fun day!

Pictures with the Kids

We had fun taking some family pictures this week. Riley is 10. Audrie is 8. Jacob is 6. Isaac is 4. and Lydia is 21 months. We love our little ones, and are very thankful to be their parents.

Fun at the Splash Pad

We had so much fun today at a splash pad with my friend Angie and her kids. The kids loved the different types of buckets that dumped, or the "force field" of water that you could go inside and not get wet. It was a beautiful day, and we had a blast.

Syracuse Heritage Days

We had fun at the Syracuse Parade. It was a sunny day, and there was a lot of candy thrown. Adam and I joke about the parade, because it is mostly advertising, but this year there was a band and the biggest loser at home winner lady so it was even better!

Florida Trip

Adam and I went to Florida to celebrate our 11th Anniversary. We had a great time at the Kennedy Space Center and were able to watch the space shuttle Endevor take its final trip into outerspace. It was and AMAZING thing to see and we were inspired with how much it takes to get into space, and how very small we are in comparison to all that Heavenly Father created, and yet we are so special to Him. What a neat thought. We also had fun at the beach, except there were terrible bugs there in the daytime so we enjoyed it in the evening. We also had a blast at Harry Potter world and downtown disney. It was a very fun trip, and I am lucky to have such a wonderful husband to share our family adventures with!

We had so much fun today having our own summer field trip to the Sweet's Candy Factory, The Church History Museum, and Temple Square. The kids were really good and they had a lot of fun.

Riley Turns 10

WoW!!!!!! My Little Riley is now 10. We had an AWESOME Harry Potter party complete with Wands, Quittach, and Butter Beer. Lots of friends and family came to help celebrate and make Riley feel special. He is such a sweet, wonderful boy and we are so glad he was born!

Summer Fun

We started out Summer with a trip to the Syracuse Family Fun Center for bowling and laser tag. It was a fun day with a lot of smiles. I have such a happy family!

Last night my 4 year old asked "Why did Heavenly Father make the "whitening" (lightning) I told him I didn't know but He wants us to know he is real. He than asked "Why haven't we got to see Heavenly Father and Jesus yet?" I said it just wasn't time. He told me " Maybe at 10 oclock". So cute, oh and btw Later Riley my 9 year old told me the reason He made lightening is so we could have electricity. So Smart :}

March 2011 California Trip

Yes I am Blogging again. Thank you Danielle for the inspiration. This is a trip to California to see Grandma. We love seeing her and the kids had so much fun playing with tops and riding around in the backyard. It was so green and beautiful, but the rain came and so did the stomach flu. We don't have pictures of the rest of the trip because most of it was spent in a hotel room. It's funny how the trips can still be memorable, even when it's for the not so pleasant reasons. We sure love Grandma though and miss being with her all day. We talked a lot about her Mama and made me want to do more with family history work!
