Decorating the gingerbread house.

My mom gave us a candy house to decorate. We had a lot of fun. Riley kept trying to lick the frosting off of Adams fingers so he plastered Riley's face in it. It was hillarious. Thanks Mom.

Audrie is 6

Audrie turned 6 today, but we had a party with neighborhood friends on Friday. She wanted a Christmas themed birthday, so we made ornaments, and decorated snowmen cakes.

She got a new doll from Mom and Dad that has red hair and she named Audrie. I keep catching her giving the doll kisses on the cheek. I am glad that the present was a hit.

Ward Christmas Party

We had fun and the ward Christmas Party.

The kids got to see Santa and Mrs. Claus.

But the best part was when Audrie got picked to be sung to and even got a kiss on the cheek. She went bright red, but was darling.

They dug our hole and are doing concrete today. Why do I even worry???

OK now that I vented about the house not going as quickly I need to reaffirm my faith that everything works out. We can stress all we want, but in the end it works out and we are better for the experience. Maybe the interest rates will go down another percent and we will relock saving us thousands in the future. Maybe our builder will be able to get it done in time. Who knows, but we have been so blessed so I am done worrying and complaining!
Did you know that building a home is HARD!!!! We just met with our builder and found out that we aren't digging this week as planned. IN FACT, they haven't even gotten the building loan or permit yet. I guess builders are having a hard time getting financing. This puts us back and they don't think they can finish it in 120 days as planned. Too bad we locked a 120 day rate and we are going to loose THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS if they aren't done by then. I am making sure that I call or email them daily to make sure they know I am in a HURRY. AHHHHHHHH

Getting Ready for Christmas

We had a wonderful time tonight decorating the Christmas tree. It was LOUD AND CRAZY but through it all I felt a sweet peaceful feeling that this holiday brings. I am so thankful for my Saviour. I am thankful for His life and His teachings and for His atonement. Audrie asked tonight if it would hurt to put nails in your hands. It made me think of just how much He suffered and how much of it was for me and my silly, selfish wrongs. I also felt a sweet love for my Heavenly Father and for His willingness to send His son down to earth. It's a blessing to know these things and to be able to share them with my family.

I just had to get a shot of this. My cute little family looking at the "polar express" going around our tree.

Wasted Day? No Way!!!

So I bought this K'NEX rollercoaster from a yard sale for about a quarter, and the manual to explain how to make it was ruined and stuck together so I made the rollercoaster by looking at the itty bitty picture on the back of the manual. It took about the whole day, but the kids thought it was amazing and Audrie even called me a Genius. He he fooled her but it was fun!

Reason # 100,987 that I LOVE being a mom

Fall Fun

We went with our friends to the pumpkin walk. There were hundreds of decorated pumpkins. Of course my kids loved the Star Wars pumpkins the best.

The kids were all Star Wars this Halloween. They practice the daily, so they were very authentic Jedi's.

Aren't they sooooo CUTE!!

Isaac had a birthday. Grandma, Grandpa, and Aunt Kaylee came up a few times that week and we had fun playing with our new puppies.

We went to Chuck E Cheese which is now considered as cool as Disneyland to the kids. Isaac had a blast and is really playing the roll of a 2 year old. He likes to climb on everything, is always jumping around, and even throws temper tantrums. Hard to imagine with such a sweet face.

What We Did This Summer

We had a blast at the cabin 4 wheeling and going to parades!

Riley Graduated from Kindergarten, Had a birthday at the Mayan, and got a remote control airplane that we flew at the park by our house.

The First Post

I may be a little biased, but I have the cutest kids in the WORLD!!!!
