Decorating the gingerbread house.
My mom gave us a candy house to decorate. We had a lot of fun. Riley kept trying to lick the frosting off of Adams fingers so he plastered Riley's face in it. It was hillarious. Thanks Mom.

OK now that I vented about the house not going as quickly I need to reaffirm my faith that everything works out. We can stress all we want, but in the end it works out and we are better for the experience. Maybe the interest rates will go down another percent and we will relock saving us thousands in the future. Maybe our builder will be able to get it done in time. Who knows, but we have been so blessed so I am done worrying and complaining!
Did you know that building a home is HARD!!!! We just met with our builder and found out that we aren't digging this week as planned. IN FACT, they haven't even gotten the building loan or permit yet. I guess builders are having a hard time getting financing. This puts us back and they don't think they can finish it in 120 days as planned. Too bad we locked a 120 day rate and we are going to loose THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS if they aren't done by then. I am making sure that I call or email them daily to make sure they know I am in a HURRY. AHHHHHHHH

Getting Ready for Christmas
We had a wonderful time tonight decorating the Christmas tree. It was LOUD AND CRAZY but through it all I felt a sweet peaceful feeling that this holiday brings. I am so thankful for my Saviour. I am thankful for His life and His teachings and for His atonement. Audrie asked tonight if it would hurt to put nails in your hands. It made me think of just how much He suffered and how much of it was for me and my silly, selfish wrongs. I also felt a sweet love for my Heavenly Father and for His willingness to send His son down to earth. It's a blessing to know these things and to be able to share them with my family.

Wasted Day? No Way!!!

So I bought this K'NEX rollercoaster from a yard sale for about a quarter, and the manual to explain how to make it was ruined and stuck together so I made the rollercoaster by looking at the itty bitty picture on the back of the manual. It took about the whole day, but the kids thought it was amazing and Audrie even called me a Genius. He he fooled her but it was fun!
